September last year I was fortunate to be crewing for one of the top British Sparathete’s, Ian Hammet! Ian was preparing to have quite literally, the race of his life!
Coming in as the 3rd British Runner Ian ran very much an amazing race, he showed more heart and determination than a lion could ever wish for and dug much deeper than I ever thought possible from any human being. No exaggeration!
This weekend the GB Sparathetes of 2019 once again, line up, and set off from The Acropolis in Athens, running to Sparta some 153 miles away. To All Running Spartathlon this year good luck, have faith and enjoy the journey. ☯️ Thoughts are with you all. 🏃☯️
