So after all is played out over the 153mile course what next?
All Athletes meet at the 400m running track the following day at 1100, in thier pants! Yes their pants (not someone else’s)Here they have 3 options of a 400m lap, 1mile or both! Round they go hobbling wobbling jogging running and some even sprinting!
Following this tradition of Pants running, #RunderWear, is a lunch hosted by the Major of Sparta.
The next day athletes head back to Athens and relax ahead of the awards ceremony and gala dinner before jet setting home. Some for more competing, others to rest recover and reset ready to repeat and compete later in the year.
